The Wellesley Symphony Orchestra is conducting a search for our new Music Director who will begin in the fall of 2022 for the 2022-2023 season. Max Hobart, Music Director and Conductor of the WSO since 1993, is stepping down at the end of the 2020-2021 season.   

The WSO Music Director Search Committee will begin vetting candidates in the Fall of 2020.  Final candidates will be asked to plan, prepare, and conduct a concert during our 2021-2022 season.  To apply, please follow the application directions and email your information and/or questions to
